- No sexual content, hate or harassment.
- Report anyone who breaks the rules. Repeat offenders are banned.

- Messages are never saved. They go straight to the other person, and we never store them.
- No account. No sign-up, email or phone number. We keep a random ID in your browser to count visits and apply bans.

What is random chat?
Random chat pairs you with another person who is online at the same time. You don't choose who you meet, and either of you can move on whenever you like.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, email or phone number. Pick a name and start chatting.
Is it anonymous?
The other person sees only the name and avatar you pick. We keep a random ID in your browser to count visits and apply bans, and use your IP address only while you are connected, to limit abuse.
Are chats recorded?
No. Messages are passed to the other person and never stored. If you report someone, we keep only the reason you chose.
Who can use NextStranger?
Adults aged 18 and older who want a casual text conversation with someone new.
Which languages can I use?
Write in Hindi (in Devanagari or Roman letters), English, or a mix of both.
What if someone is rude?
